What's your business, and who are your customers?

Omni socks take a different approach to socks. We are passionate about fashion. We design our socks in series, and they are sold in pairs, in singles, or in odd numbers, aimed to mix and match our customers for self-expression and creativity. If one sock gets lost - which always happens :) - you can just create your new, unique pairs. This way, there is less garbage on our beautiful planet.

Tell us about yourself

We are a family business, and we have a very close connection. We love spending time together, and we always have fun. The first spark of the idea came from my sock drawer, which was full of individual socks. I didn't understand why I actually threw them away and what if I could still use them. We wanted to create beautiful chaos. With my industrial design background, I wanted to create socks that would allow our customers to express themselves and, at the same time, help produce less waste. We've set those two goals as our top priorities.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our greatest accomplishment is the responses we receive from our customers. It always makes us happy and shows us that we are on the right path. Our goal is to make people happy!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

In addition to the fun and satisfaction of being the owner of a young business, there are also many challenges. The most challenging part is to gain our customer's trust and stand out in the media.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. The first and most important is to love what you do!
  2. Remember, it's a journey and not a sprint run. Have patience!
  3. Take the time to listen to your customers. Find out what they like, what makes them happy, and what they think you can improve. Keep learning, and don't give up!
